Recombinant Human FABP4 Protein (rp145772) - Protein Bioactivity
Fatty Acid Binding Protein 4, Adipocyte (FABP4) encodes the fatty acid binding protein found in adipocytes. Fatty acid binding proteins are a family of small, highly conserved, cytoplasmic proteins that bind long-chain fatty acids and other hydrophobic ligands. It is thought that FABPs roles include fatty acid uptake, transport, and metabolism. Besides, Actin Beta has been identified as an interactor of FABP4, thus a binding ELISA assay was conducted to detect the interaction of recombinant human FABP4 and recombinant human ACTb. The EC₅₀ for this effect is less than 4.23 ug/mL.
Recombinant Human FABP4 Protein (rp145772) - SDS-PAGE
3μg/lane of Recombinant Human FABP4 Protein was resolved with SDS-PAGE under reducing (R) and non-reducing (N) conditions and visualized by Coomassie® Blue staining, showing a band at 13.2 kDa.
